AVON – Peppermint’s Family Restaurant has turned on the first Tesla charging stations in Livingston County.
Unable to find marketplace offers.
Peppermints owner Chris Hetelekidis contacted Tesla to ask about purchasing charging stations for his restaurant. He was told that Tesla has no stations in Livingston County and would be glad to see some installed there.
Getting them installed took about six weeks.
The stations give a Tesla vehicle a charge that will last for about 80 to 90 miles. They can charge any electric vehicle with the right adapter.
Avon Mayor Tom Freeman said he is happy to see the stations go in and that the Village could use more.
“It’s a great start,” said Avon Mayor Tom Freeman. “The Village is looking at ways that we can do this too.”
