SUN VIDEO: Officer Katelyn Sanders Joins Geneseo Police Department

GENESEO – Monday was the first day for the Geneseo Police Department’s newest officer.

Officer Katelyn Sanders, a Brighton native, has spent the first four and a half years of her law enforcement career in Livingston County.

Police Chief Eric Osganian says that besides being a fully certified, capable police officer, she is also the department’s first female officer since 2009.

Sanders began her field training on Monday. She will fill a previously vacated part-time officer position for the Geneseo Police Department.
