SUN VIDEO: Cinderella Run for Geneseo Earns First Sectional Title in 15 Years

HENRIETTA — The Geneseo Blue Devils defeated the Cal-Mum Raiders 52-49 earning their first sectional title in 15 years.

The Blue Devils were led by Kyle Rollins who had 26 points including three 3-pointers.

Caledonia led the game for three and a half quarters but Geneseo erupted for 18 points in the 4th to tie the game.

The Blue Devils were the 8th seed and the Raiders were the 5th seed in the Section V C2 bracket.

Brian Linton came off the bench for the Blue Devils scoring 13 points including 2 clutch free throws in overtime.

The Raiders were led by Vin Molisani who had 14 points.

Geneseo outscored Cal-mum 23-14 in the 4th quarter and overtime to earn the win.
