PERRY– The Summer Saturday’s Arts Series will focus on everything agricultural at the Perry Festival Plaza on Main Street in downtown Perry, with several activities and musical performances designed for the whole family.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, visitors to the market can attend the Genesee County Agricultural Educational Cruisin’ Classroom. The Classroom will put on a host of entertaining and informative activities based on water. A performance by the Shake on the Lake acting troupe will follow, as well as a visit from Wyoming County Dairy Princess Stephanie Luders. Luders will be at the market with a delicious dairy snack and a plethora of information on dairy.
From 10 until 12, shoppers will be accompanied by Gordon Munding’s version of traditional Southern blues. Munding returns after a three-year break that he took from the Summer Arts Series, Munding’s music will feature wooden and slide guitar pieces as well as original and familiar tunes.
More than fifteen local farm vendors will bring a variety of their best produce and homemade products that this summer will have to offer. Vendors will be showing off from 8:30a.m. to 12:30p.m.
Snacks, meals and drinks will be available for all those in attendance.
The free Arts Series will run every Saturday through September 27th.
