LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The Livingston County Courthouse will be closed for the remainder of Tuesday after 1 p.m. for bad weather.
According to Chief Family Court Clerk Robert Lewis, the courthouse will be closed starting at 1 p.m.
This means that family court will not be held on Tuesday.
Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty has issued a No Unnecessary Travel Advisory for Livingston County until further notice.
This restriction is not mandatory and is left to the traveling public to decide their comfort zone on the roadways.
If it is essential to travel, drivers are urged do so with caution considering the changing weather conditions.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning through 7 p.m. Tuesday.
In the event of a power outage and you plan on running a generator, make sure that the generator is located outdoors and is properly ventilated. Space heaters should also be properly ventilated and used only if they are operating properly. Make sure snow does not block exhausts and fresh air intakes for high efficiency furnaces and water heaters.
