On January 12, 2021, at approximately 10:46 p.m., the State Police responded to the area of St-Rte 104 and I-590 in the town of Irondequoit for a car vs. tractor trailer fatal accident. The operator of a passenger car traveling westbound on St-Rte 104 near I-590 when for an unknown reason struck the back of a westbound tractor trailer.
The operator of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the tractor trailer was not injured.
State Police will release more information later today and the investigation is continuing.
