GENESEO – A New York State Homeland Security vehicle rear-ended another vehicle on Rte. 20A Thursday afternoon.
According to first responders on scene, an emergency call went out at 4:41 p.m. reporting a two-car collision with one person trapped at the intersection of Country Club Road and 20A.
Firefighters freed the driver of the leading vehicle.
She was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Homeland Security pickup, who is a member of the NYS Department of Homeland Security, was checked for injuries in an ambulance.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
Geneseo Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene alongside Livonia EMS.
