AVON – Lifting Up Livingston Inc. is proud to be working with the Village of Avon and several volunteers to host Livingston County’s very first annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Staging for participants will be at noon at the Avon High School Parking lot.
The parade will feature floats and marchers from families, businesses, community groups, or any other interested parties. Awards will be given for best float. Anyone who would like to be featured in the parade or party is invited to fill out the short form on Lifting Up Livingston’s website.
After the parade, several local businesses will be featuring drink specials and holiday menus. Lifting Up Livingston will be hosting a family friendly party at the Village Fire Hall. Limited space will be available at the Fire Hall for groups and organizations to publicize events and promote their causes.
