Lifting Up Livingston is a locally-grown cancer charity run by Livingston County residents for Livingston County residents. They announced the return of the ‘popular tradition’ of the parade will be March 10 at 1 p.m.
“Lifting Up Livingston, Inc., wishes to extend its heart-felt gratitude to the Village of Avon, who hosted the parade in 2015 and 2016, and the Village of Geneseo, who hosted the parade in 2017 and are welcoming them back in 2018,” said Lifting Up Livingston in their press release. “Other towns and villages may have to opportunity to host the event in the future.”
Businesses will be dressed up for the occasion.
Several groups and organizations are expected to provide entertainment at venues to be determined based on availability and weather, but the parade is always on, rain or shine.
Lifting Up Livingston, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping families in Livingston County which are affected by cancer. They offer supplemental financial assistance and other resources to young cancer patients and their families.
