GENESEO – The Village of Geneseo will gather to heal in memory of Kelsey Annese, Matthew Hutchinson, and Colin Kingston on Monday.
According to the Rev. Dr. William O. Daniel, Jr., Rector at St. Michael’s, all are welcome to attend a church service by the clergy of several churches from the area at the church at 23 Main Street, on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
“We continue in prayer for all the families affected by the tragedy in our village,” said Daniel. “As we learn to live into the silence that has fallen upon us, let us quiet our hearts, restrain our speech, and bear witness to the grace of God as we gather together to embrace those who are suffering. This service is an opportunity for us to come together in prayer and remember the hope to which Christ has called us.”
A reception will follow.
St. Michael’s is asking for parishioners to assist in preparing food for the reception.
“The reception is in order to give people a chance to linger and embrace one another in love,” added Daniel.
