AVON — On Wednesday Oct. 31, St. Agnes School celebrated Halloween with a costume parade and their Trick or Trunk event.
Students from Pre-K through sixth grade got dressed up and showed off their costumes around the school. Then, they headed outside where 12 decorated parent cars were waiting to hand out candy to the trick or treaters.
“There were princesses and super heroes, as well as some fun creative costumes, such as a grape soda and the chick-a-fil cow,” St. Agnes Administrative Assistant Karin Fetzner stated. “From skeletons to graveyards to a Star Wars trunk to a shark, even the cars were decorated for fun and safe trick or treating.”
Students will be donating a portion of their candy to St. Agnes Alumnus Corpsman Marty Cole, a Navy medic in training, so he can share it with his unit.
