LIVONIA — In mid-June the coffee brewery little Lake Brewing had its grand opening to the public.
After months patience and preparation, owner Donald Carll finally opened little Lake Brewing on July 16.
“I’ve been waiting for the spot for the last 4 years,” said Carll. “I got the call from the landlord who said the spot was empty and I took it over in September.”
There’s an emphasis on the small “l” in the title that signifies many things about the micro beverage center.
“The name reflects the small footprint of the building in Lakeview and that I focus on small artisanal beverages,” said Carll. “My deceased mother’s maiden name is also Little.”
At the moment only coffee and pastries are served. Plans are in the works to serve sandwiches, Kombucha, and when Carll receives his liquor license, he hopes to include draft beers and some distilled liquor products. By the end of the month, little Lake Brewing will start serving lunches.
The hours are from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. These hours are subject to change once Carll gets his liquor license. You can find little Lake Brewing at 5857 Big Tree Road, Lakeville, New York or check out their Facebook page.
