Chief Operations Officer George McConochie and Senior project and sales manager Matthew Vanderbrook expressed plans for the supposed project and its potential money and energy-saving benefits for the town of Avon. McConochie stated that SED’s goal is “to get a better deal for the town while trying to generate higher electricity.”
After discussion of the project at Avon’s board meeting on January 23, councilman James Blye suggested that the town and board “move slowly” towards a potential implementation of the project.
