SOFTBALL: Cal-Mum Advances to C2 Semi-Finals with Victory Over Oakfield-Alabama

CALEDONIA — The Caledonia-Mumford Raiders defeated Oakfield-Alabama 9-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the Section V Class C2 tournament.

Hannah Rubinrott continued her impressive season from the circle for the Raiders striking out five and allowing 3 hits.  The Raiders locked the game up in the 6th inning when they scored 6 runs. Most of  the damage was done with 2 outs when Katie Harmon ,Haley Sherwood, Kaylin Keenan and Montgomery Kessler all hit consecutive singles.

“We played a great game defensively making zero errors ,” said Raider Head Coach Dan Dickens. “When you do that the pressure is square on the other team.”
