Jessie Rozanski earned the win for the Braves and Jessie McCann took the loss for the Golden Knights.
“We played solid defense today. I had some infielders make some very good plays and keep us in the game vs a good Avon team,” said Rob Kersch, York Golden Knights Head Coach. “Sophomore pitcher Jessie McCann got her first varsity start on the mound today. She pitched a complete game and threw good enough where we could have won. We just didn’t hit the ball good enough today. Even though we took the loss I was happy with how we played. Its a work in progress.”
