Snow Day for Six Livingston County Schools as State of Emergency Declared

UPDATE: ALL Livingston County Schools are closed for tomorrow.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Hopes came true for many kids with homework and tests due tomorrow, snow day has already been declared for 6 Livingston County School Districts.

Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a statewide state of emergency for the storm anticipated to hit overnight.

As of 9  p.m. Avon, Caledonia-Mumford, Dansville, Geneseo, Mount Morris, York  have all cancelled school with others expected to cancel classes as well.

According to the National Weather Service  tonight we can anticipate 2 to 4 inches tonight of snow.  Tomorrow 4 to 8 inches is anticipated during the day and then in the night an additional…3 to 6 inches of snow is possible. By Wednesday forecasts anticipate between 10 to 19 inches of snow total.
