OSSIAN — Two people suffered life-threatening injuries after their utility vehicle crashed 80 feet down a steep embankment.
According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, they are investigating into the crash, which occurred shortly past 10 p.m on July 2nd on the south edge of Skybrook Campgrounds.
John Clark, 53, and Tammy Lord, 50, were on the UTV when they were turning around to help a stuck golf cart when it rolled down a steep ravine. Mercy Flight West transported one of the injured passengers to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
Members of the Sheriff’s Office Command Staff, Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division, and Forensic Identification Unit, were on scene for the investigation. Also on scene were emergency personnel from the Dansville Fire Department, Dansville Ambulance, and Livingston County ALS.
