LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The Sheriff’s Office is sharing and reposting social media material asking the public for any information regarding the young child who was found deceased in Massachusetts.
The Sheriff’s Office Facebook page shared a notice from Suffolk County, Massachusetts law enforcement, including their District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police, and Winthrop Police, asking anyone with information to send anonymous tips by texting GIRL to 67283, or call a 24-hour hotline at (617) 396-5655.
“Please share to help authorities in Massachusetts identify this young girl,” posts the Sheriff’s Office. “Her body was found on the shore of Deer Island on June 25 and to this moment no one has come forward with her identity. The more people that see this, the better the chances of putting a name to her and then bringing her killer to justice.”
The girl’s body was found on the Western Shore of Deer Island in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, on June 25, 2015. She is believed to have been approximately four years old, with brown eyes and brown hair, weighed about 30 pounds, and stood about 3 1/2 feet tall.
