LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is recognizing Dispatcher Stephen Zabrocki for this week’s ‘Member Monday.’
As part of the ‘Member Monday’ campaign, a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty shared the following on Dispatcher Zabrocki’s career, which continues today:
Dispatcher Stephen Zabrocki has worked as a Dispatcher for the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and Livingston County Emergency Communications Center (911) for nineteen years.
Dispatcher Zabrocki current duties include all aspects of public safety dispatching for Sheriff’s Office communications and 911 calls. Additionally, he is responsible for the Sheriff’s Office Communications Accreditation process, was a member of the team responsible for the re-writing of our Communications Policies over the past 3 years, and a member of our team helping design and write our new Computer Aided Dispatching software.
Dispatcher Zabrocki is trained in CPR, First Aid and AED, Public Safety Dispatching, Emergency Medical Dispatching, Accreditation processes, as well as many other training programs.
Dispatcher Zabrocki is the Assistant Fire Chief for the Geneseo Fire Department where he has been a volunteer firefighter serving his community for forty five (45) years.
Dispatcher Zabrocki is a lifelong resident of Geneseo, graduated from Geneseo Central School, is married to his wife Donna and has four children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
