AVON The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Almond, NY resident on drug charges after a traffic stop of I-390.
According to a press release from Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Martin Moses, 62, for misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

Sheriff’s Deputy Shawn Whitford stopped a vehicle for an alleged speeding infraction and equipment violation.
The roadside investigation alleges that Moses was in possession of several Oxycodone pills, which are a schedule two controlled substance, and he did not have a prescription for this drug.
Moses was taken into custody and transported to the Livingston County Jail for processing and arraignment.
He was arraigned on Feb. 28 before Justice Peter Piampiano in Avon Town Court. Justice Piampiano remanded Moses to the Livingston County Jaill on $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond.
