AVON – Lifting Up Livingston Inc. and the Village of Avon are once again working together to make the second annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade even bigger and better than last year’s.
Applications are now open for featured floats and participants in the parade.
The parade will feature floats and marchers from families, businesses, community groups, or any other interested parties. Awards will be given for best float. Anyone who would like to be featured in the parade or party is invited to fill out the short form on Lifting Up Livingston’s website.
The parade will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 12. Staging for participants will be at noon at the Avon High School Parking lot.
After the parade, several local businesses will be featuring drink specials and holiday menus. Lifting Up Livingston will be hosting a family friendly party at the Village Fire Hall. Limited space will be available at the Fire Hall for groups and organizations to publicize events and promote their causes.
