LIMA – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office arrested the woman who made headlines in 2011 when she fatally stabbed her boyfriend with a pair of cosmetic scissors.
According to a press release from Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Krista Kiblin, 27, and Eugene Kimbrew, 28, were both arrested for misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

On Oct. 25, Deputy Shawn Whitford stopped a vehicle on State Route 15A in the Town of Lima for an alleged vehicle and traffic law violation. During the course of the traffic stop, the Deputy Sheriff alleges that there was evidence of drug use in the vehicle. Further investigation located four bundles containing 40 bags of what is believed to be heroin. There was also one bag of what is believed to be cocaine.
Kiblin was driving. She is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Kimbrew is charged with one count.
Kiblin and Kimbrew were turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Lima Town Justice Harold Harris arraigned both Kiblin and Kimbrew and ordered them each held at the Livingston County Jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
Kiblin was convicted of Criminally Negligent Homicide in 2011.
