LIVINGSTON COUNTY— In preparation for the LCAA Championship meet, the high school swim teams of Livingston County have a week to rest and taper to peak competition level.
As they stand, the teams and their seasonal records are as follows: Livonia 9-0, Wayland Cohocton 10-1, Avon 8-3, Dansville 6-5, Bath-Haverling 4-6, Geneseo 7-5, Hornell 2-8, Letchworth 1-10, Perry 2-6, York 8-3, and Mount Morris 0-11.
Livonia is the only undefeated team in the county and is leading the meet, according to the score cards.
Psych sheets are out and swimmers are buzzing their heads and shaving their legs to trim precious seconds off their personal bests in attempt to qualify for the next bigger, more encompassing meet, Sectionals.
The divers have a separate meet held on Thursday, at Bath-Haverling.
