INTERSTATE 390 — A Rochester man was arrested after a traffic stop made by Sheriff’s Deputies revealed his license had been suspended 23 times.
According to a report from Livingston County Sheriff, Thomas Dougherty, Lanny L. Jones, 33, was stopped by Deputy Connor Sanford for an alleged violation of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law. A driver’s license check revealed that Jones was driving the vehicle with a revoked driver’s license, and his driving privileges had been suspended or revoked a total of 23 times.
Jones was arrested and charged with felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the first degree. Jones was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part at the Livingston County Jail (LCCAP) before the Town of Leicester Justice Rich White. The Judge did remand Jones to the custody of the Sheriff on $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
