GENESEO — A Rochester man was arrested on drug related charges after a traffic stop by Sheriff’s Deputies on West Lake Road in Geneseo.

According to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Larry Kennedy, 26, was pulled over by Deputy Connor Sanford for an alleged violation of NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law. During the roadside interview, Deputy Sanford smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Further investigation alleges that Kennedy was in possession of a smoked marijuana blunt as well as crack cocaine.
Kennedy was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree. Kennedy was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Mount Morris Town Justice David Provo. The Judge did remand Kennedy to the custody of the Sheriff on $200 cash bail of $500 bond.
