The City’s Department of Recreation and Youth Services will host a Local Punt, Pass & Kick competition beginning at 5 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 7, at the Rochester Community Sports Complex, 460 Oak Street. Boys and Girls between the ages of 6 and 15 are invited to compete in the event. The public is welcome to attend and watch participants compete.
The Punt, Pass & Kick Competition is football’s oldest grassroots initiative, having started more than 50 years ago. Boys and girls compete in punting, passing and kicking skills. The event allows participating youth to experience the fun of learning football fundamentals in an engaging and supportive, non-contact environment.
