The theater, beautifully restored by owner and developer Don Livingston, was host to 78 RPM, a group of 16 big-band musicians whose members come from all around Livingston County and Rochester, and more than 250 visitors.
“Now we’ve had the whole gamut,” said Livingston. “We’ve had a film, a production, and now a band, and of course there’s plenty more to come.”
Folks tapped along at the arms of their loved ones while 78 RPM swung through many big band favorites and classics, including “Moonlight Serenade,” “In the Mood,” and “I Remember You.”
Several couples couldn’t help but take to the new dance floor in front of the stage with swing steps and waltzes.
78 RPM thanked Premier Mortgage and Nothnagle Realtors for supporting the event.
