Red Cross Hosting 3rd Annual Fire & Ice Gala

Red & White themed event Saturday to benefit Red Cross services in Greater Rochester
The American Red Cross, Greater Rochester Chapter, is hosting the 3rd Annual Fire & Ice Gala, presented by National Fire Adjustment Co., Inc., this Saturday, March 30, at the Harro East Ballroom. The Red & White-themed party features food and drink, amazing auction items including a Mexican getaway, and a live performance by Rochester’s own, The Mambo Kings. All proceeds will benefit Red Cross services in Greater Rochester.

WHY: All proceeds from the Fire & Ice Gala benefit Red Cross services in Greater Rochester. Last year, 833 Red Cross volunteers provided food and clothing, shelter and support to 358 families after 219 fires and other disasters; made 804 households safer through the installation of 2,018 free smoke alarms as part of the Home Fire Campaign; trained 16,570 people in lifesaving CPR/AED/First Aid and water safety skills; provided 846 case services to military members, veterans, and their families; and collected 46,055 blood donations from volunteer donors.
