LIVONIA – Two vehicles collided near the Conesus Lake Nursing Facility on Big Tree Road Monday afternoon, sending one person to the hospital.
According to first responders on scene, a Chevy Silverado rear-ended a silver Kia Sportage while both were Eastbound on Big Tree Road, resulting in minor injuries to one victim.
The accident occurred at about 1:40 p.m.
Big Tree Road was closed to traffic for less than an hour while the investigation was completed.
Firefighters with the Livonia Fire Department responded to the scene, assisted by Livonia EMS crews. Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies also assisted, along with Avon Ambulance.
