GENESEO — With the amount of rain that the community of Geneseo has gotten over the past couple of weeks the concern arose of whether or not this would affect the annual Geneseo Airshow.
The answer was a hard and fast, no.
“The field is dry, the runway is dry, and the taxiway is dry, we are ready to go,” said Terry Swann, Vendor Coordinator for the Geneseo Airshow.
According to Swann, everything is running right on schedule. The tents are all set up and everything is marked up.
“Friday is fly in day,” said Swann.
Among the 25 planes that will be attendance at the Geneseo Airshow this weekend, one stands out as quite unique. A B-25 H model bomber with a 75 millimeter cannon.
“This bomber is the only one of it’s kind still in existence,” said Swann.
Admission for adults is $20, children twelve and under are free.
