It was an old fashioned grind-it-out football game from the start, but The Raiders were determined to keep their winning streak alive.
“They were a dangerous team, keeping us on our toes,” said Cal-mum’s head coach John Walther.
Kyle Preston started the action with a 10 yard pass to Will Vanauken for a touchdown early in the first quarter. Kurtis Haut was the man of the hour with an impressive 162 rushing yards on 10 carries with 4 touchdowns.
“We definitely all played as one unit tonight, were like a family to each other,” said Haut. “If it wasn’t for my offensive line playing their hearts out, none of this would be possible.”
An impressive night from a high powered offense led by Mike Nevinger, who added a hard earned 159 yards on 18 carries with 1 touchdown for the raiders. The Raiders keep their hopes alive of an undefeated season with a record of 4-0 and will face the Avon Braves next Friday at 7:30.
