LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The protection of our agricultural resources has become the focus of the region in recent months and the county is hosting and information session or members of the community to discuss it’s importance.
The purpose is to provide an overview of the New York State Agricultural Districts Program and address the importance of agriculture as a resource and agriculture-friendly land use planning.
Robert Somers, Manager, Division of Land and Water Resources, NYS Department of Ag & Markets Diane Held, Executive Director, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County will be making the presentations.
