Public Meeting set for Tuesday, December 17, at the Pittsford Community Library
The New York State Department of Transportation has announced an upcoming public information session for a proposed project to rehabilitate the bridge carrying Route 31 (State Street) over the Erie Canal in the village of Pittsford, Monroe County.
An open-house style meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Pittsford Community Library, located at 24 State Street in the village of Pittsford.
As part of this meeting, Department staff will also be highlighting additional transportation enhancements being proposed, including paving work on Main and State Streets, and significant pedestrian accommodations in the village.
Those interested in attending may arrive at any time during the scheduled meeting to review project details, including the scope of work and planned traffic detours during construction. Department staff will receive public comments and answer individual questions.
No formal presentation will be made during the meeting.
