GENESEO— The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for portions of western and northern central New York.
Temperatures and humidity are expected to rise, starting at 12 p.m.Saturday until 10 p.m. Monday, with some areas experiencing a heat index as high as 107 degrees. The National Weather Service recommends that those with outdoor plans this weekend plan accordingly for heat related issues.
