AVON — The Village of Avon will have their regularly scheduled board meeting tonight as tensions mount over water damage during rainstorms, and infuriated residents are anticipated to show up to voice their concerns.
Village Mayor Tom Freeman reached out to Avon Town Supervisor David LeFeber to discuss water flow and drainage issues after a second disastrous flash flood this past Mother’s Day.
Many residents feel that recent land development and construction in the Town is leading the redirection of water during rainstorms.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Avon Village Hall.
