The National Weather Service said that a Winter Storm Warning will be in effect from 8 p.m. Monday to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
“Heavy snow and blowing snow could produce very difficult driving conditions with very poor visibility and deep snow cover on roads,” said the National Weather Service.
The storm is expected to deliver 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight, 3 to 5 inches Tuesday, 2 to 4 inches Tuesday night, and 1 to 3 inches
Wednesday.
Visibility may be as low as one half mile at times.
“A Winter Storm Warning is issued when severe winter weather is expected,” said the National Weather Service. “Heavy snow and/or ice will cause hazardous driving conditions. If you will be traveling in the warning area you should choose an alternate route if possible, or you should use extreme caution if travel is unavoidable.”
