Forty Under 40 recognizes 40 men and women, under the age of 40, who have achieved professional success and who are giving back in meaningful ways to the Rochester community. A panel of judges consisting of previous winners from various professions selected the Forty Under 40 honorees. Since its founding 27 years ago, 1,080 outstanding young professionals have received this honor.
“I am honored and humbled,” said Povec. “No one gets to where they are on their own. I am grateful to have the support of my family, dear friends, colleagues, and mentors who have provided encouragement and guidance along the way.”
Povec comes to Noyes from Accountable Health Partners (AHP) where she still holds a clinical operations role. Born and raised in Utica, she has lived in Rochester since 2010.
“I grew up in a small town and believe in the importance of receiving your healthcare locally,” said Povec when asked what drew her to want to work at Noyes Health. “I want to be a part of that mission here at Noyes.”
As Director of Strategy and Business Development at Noyes, Povec works with the clinical and administrative teams to identify growth opportunities through service line development and optimization of existing services.
“Kim is very deserving of this honor,” said Dr. J. Chad Teeters, President and CEO of Noyes Health, who also works with Povec at AHP. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to this new position. I look forward to working with her to bring more services and specialties to Noyes to continue to provide quality care to the community, close to home.”
She studied nutrition at University of New Hampshire and Cornell University. She also has a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Rochester’s Simon Business School.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, and spending time with family and friends.
“This year’s Forty Under 40 are an impressive group of leaders who have achieved professional success and have made significant civic contributions to our community at a young age,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, senior group publisher of the Rochester Business Journal. “They meet challenges head on and pursue opportunities and passions to make the Rochester area an even better place to live and work. We at the Rochester Business Journal are pleased to honor them for their achievements.”
