POLL RESULTS: Avon Town Council Race a Nail-Biter

AVON — According to a GeneseeSun.com poll the Avon Town Council race is going to be a nail-biter.

The poll, which has open to all online readers, had 58 votes cast.Jim Harrington held a slim lead over Malachy Coyne with Jeannie Michalski finishing a close third.

JIM HARRINGTON 39.7% (23 VOTES)
MALACHY COYNE 34.5% (20 VOTES)
JEANNIE MICHALSKI 25.9% (15 VOTES)

Jim Harrington and Jeannie Michalski are running as Republican candidates, and Malachy Coyne is running as a Democrat for two available seats. Incumbents Dick Steen and Bob Ayers are not seeking re-election.
