LIVINGSTON COUNTY – Gabrianna Allen-Reitter, the Monroe County woman who was involved in the case of a school bus driver charged with DWI last year, appeared in Livingston County Court Tuesday for sentencing. Allen-Reitter, who has been incarcerated since the July, 2013 incident, was sentenced to 6 months jail and five years probation for charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
Allen-Reitter was arrested when Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home of Manon Coyne for an alcohol-related disturbance involving Coyne’s brother, and found a quantity of narcotics at the scene. Coyne, who had just completed her shift as a school bus driver for the Geneseo School District, arrived shortly after the deputies, and was subsequently charged with five counts of DWI under Leandra’s Law.
