LIVINGSTON COUNTY — A Rochester man, who was charged with burglary and grand larceny after breaking into and stealing property from an Avon residence, has entered a plea of guilty to second-degree burglary.
Landis Windom, 26, was arrested for the July 2012 burglary in August, alongside his cousin, Sam Sides Jr. Investigators were led to the pair after their cell phone was recovered at the scene.
Windom entered his plea before Judge Dennis S. Cohen in Livingston County Court, with his attorney Christian Kennedy.
Under the proposed deal Windom will be sentenced to time served, approximately 9 months.
Windom is scheduled to be sentenced April 11th.
