GROVELAND – A pickup truck rear-ended a sedan on Rte. 408 near I-390 in the rain late Tuesday afternoon.
According to first responders on scene, a Chevy pickup truck and Saturn Ion were southbound on 408 and slowing for the light at the entrance ramp to 390 when the pickup slid on the wet road and struck the rear of the Saturn at about 11:30 a.m.
A male occupant of the Saturn complained of neck pain and was checked for injuries in a Livingston County Ambulance.
First responders said that wet road conditions were a factor in the accident.
Ambulance crews with Livingston County Ambulance and Livingston County EMS responded to the scene alongside the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police.
