A group of aspiring photographers with disabilities is out to prove the adage “a picture is worth a thousand words” though photographic art that provides a better understanding of their perspectives and worldview, in a new exhibit this month at the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts’ New Deal Gallery.
The seven participants from The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming will display their photographs at the gallery, 4 Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris. The show will be on display through September 26.
