GENESEO – A Pavilion resident was found to have a heap of drugs in the car on Mary Jemison Drive after being stopped by a Geneseo Police Officer on Saturday for using a cell phone while driving.
According to a press release from Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian, Felicia Hirsch, 29, is charged with Driving While Intoxicated by Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, an E felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, an A misdemeanor, Using a Portable Electronic Device, and Unlicensed Operation.
Hirsch was allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs and had a crack pipe, 25 bags of heroin, 11 hypodermic syringes, and Suboxone without a prescription inside the vehicle.
Geneseo Police found that her driver’s license has been suspended eight times.
Officer Benjamin Swanson handled the arrest.
Hirsch was arraigned in front of Geneseo Justice Kathleen Houston and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond
