Pfizer Vaccine Approved by United Kingdom — 40 Million Doses Ordered

 

Great Britain is the first Western Country that will permit use of vaccine against the disease of COVIDS-`19.

The vaccine that got the favorable nob from the United Kingdom is Pfizer and BioNTech.  Pfizer has since announced it will begin shipping its product to that country.  Meanwhile the United State’s FDA is also studying the feasibility of allowing that vaccine to be used within its borders.

Pfizer is claiming its product is both safe and effective – providing a 95 percent protection against the COVID-19 virus,

A total of 40 million doses of the vaccine have been ordered by Great Britain.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla called the U.K. decision “a historic moment.”

“We are focusing on moving with the same level of urgency to safely supply a high-quality vaccine around the world,” Bourla said in a statement.
