PERRY — The Perry Tuesday Club presented a $1,000 check to the Village for new benches in the Village Park.
The revenue was generated from the raffle of gift baskets at the farmers’ market and other fundraising events.
The money will be used to help pay for new benches in the Village Park. The park is in the process of a renovation that includes a splash pad for kids to enjoy during the summer months.
“One of the things I love about the park project is how everybody is helping,” said Rick Hauser, Village of Perry Mayor. “This is a once in a generation chance.”
