Partyman Catering is supporting the growth of the hospitality industry in Livingston County.
Partyman Catering awarded its first annual scholarships to two local students furthering their education in the hospitality industry. This scholarship fund was developed to invest in the growth of the hospitality industry in our community and gives up to $1,000.00 per year.
The Community Scholarship is awarded to one local high school senior who:

lives within one of the following school districts: Geneseo, Avon, Livonia, or Honeoye Falls-Lima school districts;
-
is pursuing a degree in hospitality or culinary arts;

has a minimum GPA of 3.0;
-
has an attendance record of 90% or greater; and
-
completes an application and submits an essay outlining their career goals and how the scholarship fund will help them in achieving these goals.
The 2022-2023 Community Scholarship winner was Kirsten Love, a Livonia High School 2022 graduate. This fall Kirsten started classes at Monroe Community College pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts.
The Employee Scholarship is exclusively for Partyman employees taking any course to continue their education, regardless of their field of study. The 2022-2023 Employee Scholarship winner, Adria Hildreth, is a Partyman Event Lead, Gatherer, and was a Sales Intern this past summer. Adria entered her sophomore year this fall at Monroe Community College and is studying Hospitality Management with a focus on Event Planning.
Owner of Partyman Catering, Joe Yantachka, has always had a connection to our local community, “I grew up in Livonia and started Partyman Catering there in 1999.” Partyman Catering is now located in Avon and has many employees from the surrounding areas. “There are so many opportunities within the hospitality industry and we’re excited to support the young minds pursuing the field,” remarked Yantachka.
