Overturned Sea-Doo Results in Father’s Death

An overturned Jetski driven by a father and son resulted in the father’s death on the Oneida Lake yesterday.

The son, 31-year-old Nikunj Aggarwal from New Jersey, was able to get back on the Sea-Doo.  The father, Ajay Aggarwal, 63, from India, struggled.

People on shore managed to take the vessal  out and pulled both men on board, but the older man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol.

Both men had on life jackets.  An autopsy is scheduled by the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
