GENESEO – A waitress at Omega Grill in Geneseo received a surprise in the tip jar on Friday in the amount of $102, apparently as part of an act of kindness from a regular customer, who included a note with the tip saying in essence to pay forward the generosity.
According to news partner 13WHAM, waitress Kelly Patterson received a tip of $102, the age of the patron’s late mother, and a note on paying kindness forward.
Apparently, the tipper was celebrating his late mother’s birthday, and paid for other patron’s meals as well.
Patterson says she will pay forward the generosity is not sure what she will do yet, and wants to wait for the right thing to come along.
