NYSP Update Charges On Trooper Charged With Forcible Touching

The New York State Police have released an update a story we have been following.

 

UPDATE:

The State Police along with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office have charged Jason Sears with 2 additional counts of Forcible Touching from an incident that occurred in 2017. Sears is due back in the city of Rochester Court on January 22nd to answer all charges.

Sears is still suspended from the State Police.

The investigation is continuing.

The original story:

On November 21, 2018, the New York State Police arrested Jason Sears, age 39, of Greece, NY for Forcible Touching, a class A misdemeanor.
Sears was given an appearance ticket, and will be back in the city of Rochester court on November 23, at 9:30 a.m.
Sears is employed as a Trooper with the New York State Police and has been suspended without pay while the investigation continues.
