LIVINGSTON COUNTY – Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has directed that flags on state government buildings be flown at half-staff Tuesday, March 28, in honor of U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Alexandria Mae Morrow.
Dansville honored Morrow’s service and mourned her loss at a ceremony Saturday.
“On behalf of all New Yorkers, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Staff Sgt. Morrow and join in honoring her service to our nation,” said Governor Andrew Cuomo. “I am directing flags to be flown at half-staff tomorrow at all state buildings to pay tribute to her courage and sacrifice in defending the freedoms this state and this nation were founded upon.”
Staff Sgt. Morrow, 25, died in a non-combat related incident in the line of duty in southwest Asia.
Besides thanking her for her service to our nation, her friends and neighbors remember her as ‘super positive, loved by all and a person who would help anyone.’
